May, 2008 It’s all here, the good the bad and the ugly. Sunday, May 4th, Centennial Park received a report from the BC Fellowship regarding the health of our church and the urgent need for change. To view a full copy of the report, click here. On Tuesday, May 13th, Centennial Park will vote on whether or not to adopt the prescriptions of the consultation team. May, 2008 Consultation time is here! This weekend (May 2-4, 2008) Centennial Park will be welcoming a delegation from the Fellowship of Evangelical Baptist in BC who will be meeting with us and sharing with us where they think we are as a church, where we need to be and how to get there. On Friday, May 2nd from 7-8:30pm David Horita (our regional director) and team will meet with a focus group to discuss this church and its future. Then on Saturday, David Horita and team will be meeting with the leaders of the church for an all day workshop. Finally, on Sunday, David Horita will present to the church the consultation team’s final report on the current health and future of this church including an action plans to follow. There will be an opportunity at this point for questions and interaction. The church will meet on Tuesday, May 13th to officially vote whether or not to adopt the action plan presented by David Horita. December 2007 Audio recordings of Pastor Jared’s weekly sermons have just been added to this website. In the future sermons will be uploaded on a weekly basis for those who could not make it on a Sunday. November, 2007 On Tuesday, November 6th, Centennial Park Baptist Church voted overwhelmingly in favor of breaking ground this November. We will be starting on the foundation this November and then we plan to finish the framing, exterior and grounds for next Spring. For a copy of the minutes from this business meeting click here.
